When linking loads I wish we could simply check full length. During tweaks when length changes it's an unnecessary step to go in and have to adjust the length over which the load acts. Thank you.

For example , an existing 12" lvl ridge and remodel adds weight (dormer) so ridge needs 2ply 16" lvl. I'd like to include the 12" and the 16" plys in the same beam as long as all plys bear equally.
