Currently the spacing of bottom and top edge bracing is a result of the beam selected, instead of being a criteria entered like the span. The spacing of bracing is often dictated by the spacing of joists, bearing locations or otherwise, especially in dropped beam scenarios.
An option to enter the spacing of the braces should be provided, and then only beam sizes which work with braces at that spacing would be returned as passing design.
