I have a continuous roof joist with a slop of 8:12 with perpendicular glulam beams at the end supports and intermediate support. Is it possible to notch the joist as you see in the attached image?
Best case would be to reference NDS codes on notches, holes, etc. There are too many variables that would lead to a complicated interface in a web-based environment.
There is an option to change the Support Type to a Birdsmouth on the Spans & Supports tab, however it will not be analyzed. Is your request to have this cut analyzed?
