Once the criteria for a member is entered, it would be vastly better to see a menu of choices that show options that all meet the criteria.
So it might say USE TJI 110 11 1/2" at 12" on center or TJI 210 11 1/2" at 16" on center or TJI 550 9 1/2" 16" on center. And show the relative comfort values for these various solutions. Same thing for beams, give me a choice that lets me quickly see that if i want a shallow depth I need X but if depth is not a concern, then Y will work, with the relative deflection of X and Y shown.
EMPOWER THE DESIGNER PLEASE!

The Solutions Tab allows you to see solutions sorted by wood volume (and spacings, Pro-Rating if member is a joist) if multiple selections were made on the Products tab. Are you looking for more information than is provided by the Solutions list?
