I agree with the shorthand. I use R currently all the time for linking a load at full span. I would like to see that mid point load with C as suggested or M if that works better.
Shorthand locations to help input loads or location analysis would be great.
C = center
L = left
R = right
1 = support #1, etc. then add/subtract in feet/inches, e.g. 2 - 010106 would be support #2 minus 1'-1.5"
