Hello,
I would like to suggest a tab field where you can add a notch or taper at the end of beams such as PSLs or Glulams. In such cases, their bearing capacities are reduced. I know for Glulams the shear capacity is of the shear at the face is reduced D/De and for PSLs there is the Allowable Reactions table. It would be great if these could be incorporated into the program.

Thank you for the idea. Currently, ForteWEB allows your to analyze notches for TJI's and tapered end cuts for Flush Beams (TJ products only). We can consider expanding these capabilities to other TJ and non-TJ products in the future.
