It seems like over the last few weeks Forteweb has gone from pretty quick to painfully slow...is there anything you can do about this? I spend as much time waiting for the calc to load as I do actually doing the calc (and constantly having to log back in....)

I agree that the performance can be a bit slow, but for me it is not debilitating, and rarely is an issue.
As the user base grows, unfortunately, it is inevitable that things will bog down unless more compute time is dedicated to the software, or more server-side optimizations are performed (which can often be difficult).
At any rate, for a free web-based software, I am quite satisfied with the performance.
3 weeks ago we upgraded the resources ForteWEB is hosted on to help with performance. We monitored the changes for 2 weeks and ForteWEB is definitely performing better now. The next time you are using ForteWEB please let us know what you think of the performance.
