I have an installation where we had to rip a 9.25 PSL down to 7.75 and the code official insists that this isn't allowed with manufactured lumber products. Can you direct me to a publication that confirms he's mistaken? I know the Forte software includes tapers and holes, but notches and ripped depths would help with disputes like this.
