I've completely lost count how many times I've been locked out of a file or was told I didn't have access for some reason. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. You are offering the software, you need to make it work properly. And this has been happening for a LONG time, so it's not some random Chrome update that I've heard you say

I COMPLETELY AGREE. This has happened to me too many times to count and it is affecting my ability to do my job effectively. For this reason, plus others, I would like a forte app, not a web-based version. This needs to change ASAP.
Let the engineers do their jobs and quit locking them out due to bogus security concerns.
Agree. It would be really really great if files did not become locked after auto-log out. Or if a user could at least set the amount of time that passes before auto-sign out. It seems to happen pretty fast. Like you check an email and hey woops you're auto-logged out. And cannot access the file upon log-in because the file is now locked. It's maddening.
Second that - Forte is great, but if this keeps up I'm going to stop using it
