For some multiple ply lvl's, it would be useful to see what combinations of nailing/screwing patterns work.

You can choose from a list of options for Multiple Member Connections today to see which option is best for your situation. With Multiple Member Connections turned on from the Member tab and set to either Full Length or By Span, choose the material you want to use on the Product Selection tab and then navigate to the Report tab. Navigate to the Multiple Member Connection grid on the Report tab and notice a drop-down list in the grid that allows you to choose from the available connection options for the multiple ply beam you are designing.
