Allowing the user to set design loads for the entire project (i.e. roof dead load, floor dead load, etc) would enable the user to just enter that piece of information once and then every member being designed in FORTE WEB would be able to receive those loads. If the loads changed after the initial design was complete, then the user would just have to change the loads in one place instead of having to go into each member's file and change the loads manually. This would increase accuracy and efficiency.

Thanks for your idea! This would be a complex feature to create, but we will consider it as we enhance the software. For now, once you have entered the common loads for a member you can select the Save as Default button at the top-right corner of the Loads tab and each new member (i.e. of the same member type) that is added to the job will include those loads by default.
