Please bring back "TOTAL LOAD" - Trash "Factored"

Would be nice to see the Total Load for sizing other items. Not sure what "Factored" is. I thought my settings got changed to Canadian.

    Admin response

We will be adding a user setting to allow the user to define which value, Total Load or Factored Load, will be displayed on the report.

I appreciate the software usinig the factored loads. The factored load is the total load, using the required load combinations.

This is one of the many options that SHOULD be available in the software, to select between possible items that are currently hardcoded in.

I agree ... It would be better if you show both "total" & "factored" loads ...

Perhaps some Program Setting toggle to allow the user to choose which to display (Total vs. Factored), or show both?

Like the title says, please bring back the "total load" column. If some people need the factored and like me I need the total then please have both columns.

I agree with the last comment, can you add a line with total load.

Seems that some folks want "Total" and some want "Factored". I think you should provide both. I prefer "total".

Factored is great as it shows the ACTUAL loads per ASCE 7-16 load combinations that we will need to use to transfer to supporting elements below. Many reviewers were getting confused with the "Total" loads and interpreting them as factored loads that needed to be supported, including unfactored uplift, which is incorrect.

I'm very glad this feature has been included in this latest release.
