As an engineer, I appreciate the errors and warnings that Forte gives, but when I provide a design outside of forte for the uplift or other warnings, there should be a way to override the FAILING in Forte and allow it to show as passing. In this case, an uplift up to 2500lb would be acceptable, and in another recent "failing" member, the "code minimum" deflection criteria are too conservative for some cases (There are cases that allow for deflections up to L/180 or even L/120 or larger).
I know you can't allow for every possible code exception, but giving us the option to apply our own exceptions at will would be greatly appreciated.
