I agree that A36 steel should be added. Not only is older steel often A36, new residential construction still somehow has access to 36KSI structural steel.
Yes, Please add A36 (36ksi) strength steel as an option in addition to 50ksi. Otherwise old steel members (pre-1997) will be undersized if calculated as 50ksi.
