Please add the option for Wet Service Factor (CM) and Incising Factor (Ci) as options for exterior deck framing design.
Also, I use Alaskan Yellow Cedar Glulams (20F-V12) for larger loads on exterior decks. Would be nice to have in the Glulam database!
Regarding wet use not being for rain, it depends on conditions - almost always rain in rainy areas, and if it's in a humid area almost all exterior wood in my region stabilizes out to 15-20% humidity due to simple ambient humidity depending on time of year. (It also rains something like a third to half the time, so anything exposed to weather doesn't have a chance to fully dry out during the rainy season.)
But, yes, add wet service and incising factors, please.
FWIW, Wet Service isn't for exterior use when something is hit by rain, it's more like in a lake or ditch or some other use that can fully submerge part of the member in water.
Incising factors would be very useful, though.
Yes, please add wet use and incising factors for deck framing design.
