When lumber is used in conditions where the moisture content exceeds 19% for an extended period, the reference design values should be adjusted using the following wet service factors: Fb = 0.85, Fv = 0.97, Fc⊥ = 0.67, Fc∥ = 0.8, and E = 0.9.
