Add a database of historical and legacy dimensional lumber sizes and species, including larger-dimension solid-sawn lumber that is not commonly available in modern construction. This would allow engineers to analyze existing structures using actual historical member dimensions and corresponding material properties, rather than having to approximate members using currently available lumber sizes and design values.
Ideally, the database would include historical lumber grades, species, nominal and actual dimensions, and applicable allowable design values, where available, to support the evaluation and analysis of existing wood framing systems.
