What is the reason for this? It is permissible per code to apply overstrength to seismic loads on any structural wood member, including sawn lumber.

It'd be efficient for data entry if the rafter pitch was on the same screen as span and loads, not on the first screen. It seems to belong there to me.

It would be really nice to have a value aside the SimpsonTie hangers proposed by the software showing the % of the max load capacity each hanger would have (say 58% of max for hanger capacity for hanger no 1, 75% for hanger no 2...)

Why is the trib width field at the top of the Loads screen for wall columns rather than down below with other info? It is really easy to forget to fill out this field since it sits above the Eccentricity area, and not with the actual loading crite...
