It would be really nice to have a value aside the SimpsonTie hangers proposed by the software showing the % of the max load capacity each hanger would have (say 58% of max for hanger capacity for hanger no 1, 75% for hanger no 2...)

I'd appreciate if Forte would be able to design roofs without a structural ridge, meaning that I can select rafters with only 1 support & have the full load totaling only on that side.

For example , an existing 12" lvl ridge and remodel adds weight (dormer) so ridge needs 2ply 16" lvl. I'd like to include the 12" and the 16" plys in the same beam as long as all plys bear equally.

Query user Profile/Registration and default the Building Code accordingly. USA = IBC, Canada = NBCC. All others could be IBC, but at least default this for USA and Canada.
