A new feature has been released in browsers to put browser tabs to sleep. This allows browsers to use less battery life for devices, but unfortunately this has resulted with ForteWEB timing out because of a lost connection. The issue is happening in all browsers but seems to be occuring more frequently in Edge and Safari. We are working on a fix for this issue now, but since it came as a surprise to us as well we didn't have the chance to address the issue before it impacted users. Expect a fix to be released in the coming weeks. Thanks for your patience.

You can solve this by opening another random file and go back and open the file you want to access.
