When Designing Beams I run into lots of applications where they attach to Columns like Simpson Strong-Tie details for their HUCQ hanger in their Wood Construction Connectors Catalog C-C-2024 page 107. So under the Bottom/Flush category when one picks Face Mount Hanger, under the Type the Column Option goes away and it needs to be added in.
