Forte Software Ideas

I have a continuous roof joist with a slop of 8:12 with perpendicular glulam beams at the end supports and intermediate support. Is it possible to notch the joist as you see in the attached image?

When using dimensions such as 7'-0-3/4", the software shortens it to 7' 3/4" .....this leads to potential misreading of numbers...some more than others. Most of us use multiple programs and they all have slightly different fonts and dimension form...

Can there be a default of Feet Inches and Sixteenths, similar to Javelin. The option in the Forte program requires to enter spaces between, if it could be made to enter like Javelin it would make it awesome!

In some cases where dead load is a significant portion of the loading, we would want to limit the dead load deflection.

Sometimes houses flip from a right swing to a left swing. Can there be a future update for flipping the calc to a member so i don't have to edit my calcs from the opposite side?

The results do not show enough information. It would be great if additional information is provided with results......more detailed calculations, equations used, design specifics.

Add the option to hang a beam off of the end of a joist with

Now there is no way to share a file and close it on your end. Please offer a close option so user can close the file and then log out. Or the software should automatically close the file when we log out. Please implement as soon as possible
