Forte Software Ideas

I often have to analyze beams in existing buildings and the older beams have lower values. It would be very helpful if there was a legacy lumber section that could be used for this type of analysis.

It would be great if the Job Summary Report had beam lengths. example : 3 piece(s) 1 3/4" x 9 1/4" x 20'-0" 2.0E Microllam LVL

For walls, we typically use stud grade 2x6. It would be nice to see stud grade as a material option.

This would be useful for when you have a brick veneer that isn't full height, so you could check the deflection at the extent of the brick without having to set your whole member to L/360 from L/180.

I have worked for other structural engineering companies in the past and they all use Revit to draft and Forte to design all their wood members and, on every company, Engineers have wonder if there is a way to connect Forte and Revit other than us...

If you have multiple of the same load, it would be useful to be able to copy it, especially if it is a linked load it will save a lot of time.

It would be nice we we could just drag and drop a member in Forte to create a linked load.
